Pearl E. Craig

Pearl E. (Restorff) Craig, a lifetime resident of the Camas-Washougal area, died June 27, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 93.

Craig was born Feb. 5, 1909, in Lents, Ore. She worked as an inspector, machine tender and key-punch operator for the Crown Zellerbach paper mill, until her retirement. Craig attended Bethel Community Church and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge 220, Community Garden Club, and retired Business and Professional Women. She attended Camas Senior Citizens Center activities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle, on April 23, 1975, a niece, Corrine Wallace.

She is survived by three nieces, Shirley Gilmer of Camas, Jane Holt of Arlington, Wash., and Gwen Stoller of Camas; one nephew, Gordon Restorff of Goldendale, Wash,; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas today from 1 to 5 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 1 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Home. Vault interment will follow at Washougal Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial donation can be made to Bethel Community Church, 1438 B St., Washougal, WA 98671, or a charity of the donor's choice.
