Mildred Mae Adkins, 76, of Clinton Township, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, in her home. She was born Aug. 28, 1930, in Detroit.
Mrs. Adkins was a member of the Red Hat Society. Her family said she was a great cook and loved to garden.

She is survived by her children, Terry (Thomas) Adkins-Mill and Jack (Marie) Adkins; grandchildren, Andrea (Ken) Martin and Melissa Mill; great-grandchild, McKenna Martin; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jack,sister, Betty Johnson; brother, Robert Johnson; and parents, Clyde and Eleanor Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield (north of 15 Mile Road), Clinton Township. Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens West, Westland.

Visitation is 2:30-9 p.m. today.
