ADAMS, BARBARA J., 57 Ocala - Barbara J. Adams, 57, passed away at Sylvia's Hospice House in Ocala. A native of California, she moved to Ocala in 1974. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 35 years and was most recently employed by Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her five children, Christen Adams Goad of Tallahassee, Stephanie Adams Gilledo of St. Cloud, April Adams of Ocala, Michael Adams of Tallahassee, and Jacob Adams of Tallahassee; sister, Mary Sue Schweitzer of Margate; brothers, Joseph Austin of Ocala and Robert Austin of Summerfield; grandchildren, Erin Goad, Jordan Adams, Kyle Goad, Kendall Goad, and Ian Gilledo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph W. and Emma Austin. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday March 23, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 11528 SE US Hwy 301 in Belleview. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at HIERS FUNERAL HOME, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County, P.O. Box 4860 Ocala, FL 34478.
