KILGORE - Graveside services for Connie Cecelia Appling, 86, Kilgore, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kilgore Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Hendrick officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home, Kilgore.

Mrs. Appling died March 17, 2007, in a Kilgore nursing home.

She was born March 12, 1921, in Wichita Falls to the late Carl and Pearl Hedges.

She lived in Kilgore since 1934, and was a member of Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Appling, and brothers, Lester and Carl Hedges.

Survivors include daughters, Shelia Leach, Teresa Jones, Sandra Gossage and Judith Leach; son, Richard Appling; sister, Kathryn Presley; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
