CRAMBLET BABY SUCCUMBS AFTER HEART OPERATION
Diana Lynn Cramblet, 10-month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Cramblet of Custer, who had made a brave fight for her life since birth due to a congenital heart condition, died at 1 a.m., Oct. 5 in the Colorado General hospital, Denver.
Graveside rites for Diana were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m., at Pringle, with the Rev. Fred Swett, pastor of the Congregational church, Custer, officiating. Burial was in the Pringle Cemetery.
Diana Lynn Cramblet was born Nov. 26, 1954 at the Lutheran hospital, Hot Springs. She is survived by her parents; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Harthun; her paternal grandmother Mrs. Bob Estershorn, Las Vegas, Nev., and her paternal grandfather, Charles A. Cramblet, Eugene, Ore.
Diana, who underwent heart surgery by Denver specialists last week, had previously had a minor heart operation. Had she lived, she would have faced amputation of her right leg because she was born without the large bone in her limb.
