Hypothetical/Circumstantial suggestion:
1778 twins? Born the same year with
Abijah Bijes Humphrey 16 Nov 1778, d. 1813?
[There is a gap shown between Abijah b.1778 (b. 1780??) John b.1782]
Marriage 20 April 1797 in Hardin County, Kentucky. She was 17 when she married Timothy Tichenor. In Hardin County, Ky. on 7 April 1797 she married Timothy Tichenor, who had recently moved there from Nelson County, Kentucky. Timothy Tichenor, son of Daniel Tichenor & Catherine Wade, was born in Morris County, N.J. on 16 Jan. 1775. In late 1802 or early 1803 Timothy Tichenor & Elizabeth Humphrey moved to Ohio County, Ky., where they settled on a 600 acre tract, in the Walton's Creek community, the land had been obtained by his father in 1790. They lived in Ohio County the remainder of their lives, Elizabeth died there between 1840-1850 and her husband died in 1856.
Has she married (2)William Humphrey August 04, 1837 in Ohio Co, Kentucky. Not likely...because her husband Timothy died in 1856. The 1840 Census Tichenor indicates age male between 60-70, female 50-60 and two female children between 5 and 15….living in Ohio County, Kentucky.
Elizabeth "Betsy" Humphrey was born in 1778 at Virginia; Find A Grave memorial shows b. 1780. She married Timothy Tichenor on 20 April 1797 at Hardin County, Kentucky; her 1st husband.
Elizabeth "Betsy" Humphrey was mentioned with Benjamin Humphrey; Clipping "Humphrey Family Bible Record" by Mrs. Agnes D. Ashby posted by Herwork on 11 July 2014:
"Benjamine Humphrey a charter member of Waltons Creek Church is buried in a family buring [sic] ground near Matanza on his monument died, November 17, 1847, age, 63..."
