AFTON-Mrs. Lacy Pearl Ferguson, 52, of Route 2, died Thursday night in the University of Virginia Hospital.
She was born on June 26, 1926 in Nelson County, a daughter of the late Everette B. and Minnie Carter Truslow.
She was employed by Morton Frozen Foods in Crozet.
Surviving are her husband Herbert L. Ferguson; four daughters, Mrs. William (Maxine) Fisher of Hagerstown, Md., Mrs. Barry (Linda) Morris of Waynesboro, Miss Darlene Ferguson and Mrs. Edward (Tina)Fitzgerald, both of Afton; two sons, Charles Ferguson of Havelock, N.C., and James Ferguson of Afton; five sisters Mrs. Arthur (Lola) Bryant of Faber, Mrs. William (Dolly) Mohler and Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Shea, both of Afton, Mrs. Edward (Mary) Scott of Pontiac, Mich.,and Mrs. Aubrey (Lucille) Slater of Waynesboro; five brothers, Dennett Truslow of Baltimore, Md., John Truslow, Hampton Truslow and Jessie Truslow, all of Afton, Cloudy Truslow of Glen Allen; seven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Rockfish Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. John Chaffee.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Johnson, Richard Ferguson, Larry Ferguson, Gail Thompson, Charles Graves, Donnie Graves, Daniel Mohler and Kenny Mohler.
