"Michael S. Afentakis passed away on Oct. 27 at Pearce, Arizona. A native of Greece, Mr. Afentakis has made his home in Sunsites for several years. He was 80 years old at his death. He is survived by his wife, Nola, of Pearce.
Services were held at the Willcox Church of the Nazarene on Oct. 30, with Rev. Harry Myers and Fr. Anthony Moschones officiating. Bob and Cathy Cosby provided the special music.
Casket bearers were: William Gore, Eschol Cosby, Charles Rose, Jerry Dobers, Boby Cosby, Gary Franklin. Burial was at the historical Pearce Cemetery."
