Raymond H. McCloud, Sr, 80, Roachdale, died Sunday afternoon in Hendricks Community Hospital, Danville, Indiana. He was retired from Wilson Brothers Greenhouse. Mr. McCloud was born July 19, 1919, in Roachdale, to Johnny and Eva Mae Wilson McCloud. He attended school in Morgan County. He married Doris McCloud August 28, 1948, in Acton, Indiana. She survives. Othe Survivors include three daughters, Debra Sillery, Roachdale, Marilyn Walker, Bowling Green, KY and Luetta Long, Crawfordsville; five sons, Raymond, Bill, Homer and Ron all of Roachdale, Rick of Edinburgh, Frank Whitaker, Crawfordsville, a sister, Martha Compton, Lakeland, Fl, 14 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and 10 step-Great Grandchildren. Friends and family may call from 4-8pm. Tuesday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale. Funeral services are at 1:30 Pm Wednesday in Servies and Morgan Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold Dockery will officiate. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery.
I miss you so much Dad, someday we will see each other again, what a joyful day that will be. You were the best Dad ever. I can still see your laughing eyes, and you calling me Phyllis Diller. Orange slices and candy circus peanuts, Prince Albert Tobacco, Long John Silvers,and burning cigars makes me think of you also.
