ERNESTO A. BACA
Age 19, a lifelong resident of Canjilon, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by his cousins, Ambrosio Velasquez; great-grandparents, Esmeraldo Martinez, Lucrecia Velasquez, Filigonio Baca and Elisa Olivas and Felicita Valdez.
Ernesto was a 2006 graduate of Escalante High School. He was currently a member of the Army National Guard. He was also a member of La Cofradia de Nuestro Padre Jesus de Canjilon. Ernesto is survived by his parents, Emery A. and Karen L. Baca; sisters, Clarissa, Camille and Lynette Baca; paternal grandparents, Paul and Amalia Baca all of Canjilon; maternal grandmother, Ernestina Valdez of Chamita; grandfather, Joe Valdez of Colorado; aunts and uncles, Paula Gurule and husband Rudy, Erwin Baca and wife Raquel, Kenneth Baca and wife Maria Elena, Joseph Baca and wife Loretta, David Baca and wife Eva, Joseph, Vincent, Daniel and Dennis Valdez, Sharon Avila and husband Marcos and Roberta Guillen and husband Rick; close cousins, Paul Gurule, Ryan Baca, Dana Gurule, Brittney Gurule, Tanya Valdez and Enrique Guillen and a great number of dear cousins and other family and friends.
