Mrs. Pilcher was born Oct. 4, 1928 in Jefferson County, the daughter of John J. and Reuverta A. Wilson Parkhill. She married Loren R. Pilcher June 6, 1948 in Lynn Branch Church.
She was a homemaker and member of Lynn Branch Church, where whe was the church pianist, secretary and treasurer.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, David, Jerry, and Brian Pilcher; two daughters, Marjorie Barnes and Barbara Painter; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a son, Darrel Pilcher; and a brother, Harry Parkhill.
Funeral services were held at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood with burial in Brown Cemetery in rural Edgewood.
