Elizabeth F. Alligood, 85, of Hudson, Fla., passed away March 2, 2007, under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center. She was born in Richfield, Minn., and moved to Hudson in 1968, coming from St. Petersburg, Fla. During her working years, she was employed as an office clerk. She was a Protestant by faith and a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran and served during World War II. She was a member of Arnerican Legion Post 335 in Hudson, Fla. Mrs. Alligood was also the past commander of American Legion Post 31 in Thomasville, Ga. She is survived by two sons, Jesse D. Alligood of Burns, Wyo., and William H. Alligood of Hudson, Fla.; two daughters, Myrtis F. Harris and Margaret R. Flack, both of Hudson, Fla. Survivors also include 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. A memorial service conducted March 6, 2007, at North/Meadowlawn Funeral Home, New Port Richey, Fla. Inurnment in Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens.
