She was born May 22, 1951, in Marietta to Andrew and Margaret (Burkhart) Nau. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marietta. She was a 1969 graduate of Caldwell High School and received her bachelor's degree from Otterbein College. She taught briefly in the Fort Frye School District, and was employed a number of years at United National Bank in Parkersburg.
She is survived by her husband, Gary G. Braddock, to whom she has been married 33 years; a son, Phil D. Braddock of Cincinnati; also surviving are her parents, Andrew and Margaret Nau of Caldwell; and two brothers, Herman (Betty) Nau of Caldwell and Carl (Bonnie) Nau of Marietta.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Nau.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marietta on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Revs. Mark Moore and Dale Tornes as co-celebrants. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery. The North-Dilley Funeral Home, 212 N. Main St., Mount Vernon, OH 43050, is in charge of the arrangements.
