His second wife, Mary Lane, died while she and Anderson were on their way to Coos Bay to visit a son. Not sure if she died in Coos County or Josephine County.
Mary Lane Darneille is actually buried in Croxton Cemetery but due to vandalism, her headstone has disappeared. Her name is found on the memorial plaque at the headstone circle in Croxton Park in Grants Pass, O5.
