Forrest A. Hart, 82, of Sandy Lake Road, Brimfield, died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at his home in Brimfield.

He was born January 8, 1924 in Clem, West Virginia to Alexander and Dora Lucy (Kerns) Hart. He was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Army in Germany. He worked for 38 years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, retiring in 1987. He and his wife wintered in Florida for ten years after retirement. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church of Brimfield. He enjoyed hunting and being with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Fae (Case), whom he married May 20, 1948; son, Steven Hart of Kent; daughters, Diane L. Cole of Gassaway, West Virginia and Anita S. (Whitey) Starcher of Brimfield; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Thomas Hart in 1966; brothers, Troy, Osborne, Armand, Owen, Alex and Audbirt; and sisters, Olive Price and Lona Spradling.

Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Thursday at Faith United Methodist Church of Brimfield, with Rev. Vernon Shepherd officiating and assisted by Rev. Dennis Shawhan. Calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield.
