Glenn L. Luce, 70, of El Dorado, retired Boeing Military Airplane Co., welder, died Saturday at St. Francis Medical Center. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Carlson Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 10, 1917 at Carthage, Mo., the son of Bert L. and JoAnna (Walker) Luce. He moved to El Dorado in 1938 from Oklahoma, and worked for Boeing Aircraft for 35 years, retiring in 1980. He was also a builder and carpenter in this area. He served in the Navy during World War II.
He married Gladys M. Roberts, Sept. 9, 1937 in Oklahoma.
Survivors include wife, Gladys; two sons, James, Jerry, both of El Dorado; one brother, Elmer John Luce of Los Angeles; one sister, Helen Corder of Carthage, Mo.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
