Mr. Halterman was born October 1, 1944, in Clay County, the son of Nathel and Catherine Jones Halterman. He married Pauline Tipsword June 28, 1973 and she preceded him in death in October, 2002.
He was a maintenance employee for Brown produce in Farina.
Survivors include his mother: a son, Marlin Wilkinson; a daughter, Sharon Davis; two brothers, Lester and Charles Halterman; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his father, wife, a daughter, Paula Beer, a sister, Wanda Halterman, and a brother Donald Halterman.
Funeral services were held at Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy with burial in Elder Cemetery in Kinmundy.
