Mrs. Essie Beam Flowers, 81, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005.
Born in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late William Ira and Pearl Bookout Beam.
She was retired from Pauline Mills and was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur A. Flowers; three brothers, John Beam, Sam Beam and Bill Beam; and three sisters, Gertrude Shaw, Julia Sanders and Sue Love.
She is survived by a son, a daughter, and three sisters.
Burial will be in Mountain Rest Cemetery.
