Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the F.D. Sweet and Son Mortuary for Frederick Brewster Cushman, 74, well-known Orland rancher. He died Thursday in Glenn General Hospital.
A native of California, he was born Aug. 23, 1897, in Galt. He was a life-long rancher on land west of Orland.
Survivors are his wife, Camille; three sons, Frederick and Barnett, both of Orland, and Allen of Salt Flat, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Erma Jones of Santa Cruz, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Monday's rites were followed by interment at the Newville cemetery. - Transcribed by E.
