Gladys Vaughan Green, 70, of Denton passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2007 at Sterling House. She was born September 14, 1936 in Sanger to Pleas and Bessie Jones Vaughan. She graduated from Sanger public schools, was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and worked at Care Inn of Sanger as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007 from 6 - 8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Jack George officiating. Burial will follow at Sanger Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn Fielder, Chris Fielder, Josh Hall, Jeremy Hall, Clinton Watts, Jr., Tommy Fielder, Jr., Kenneth Nelson and Jeff Henderson.

She is survived by daughters, Ruthie Hutson of Krum, Treasa Hall of Little Elm, Diana Brock of Valley View, Pam Watts of Krum, Brenda McBride of Foreman, AR; sons, Richard Fielder of Houston, Tommy Fielder of Valley View, Jerry Green and Alan Green, both of Rogers, AR; 27 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
