Mary L. Stoops, 81, of West Liberty, died at 3:10 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2007, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Jack Stoops and Pastor Kyle Stoops officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Xenia.

Mrs. Stoops was born May 12, 1925, in Paris, the daughter of Grover Weck and Myrtle (Delishment) Weck. She married Roy N. Stoops on March 28, 1941, in Paris. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1988.

She was enjoyed reading and was of the Christian faith.

Mrs. Stoops is survived by children, Jerry Stoops, of Olney, Jack Stoops and his wife, Barbara, of Effingham, Saundra Jayne, of West Liberty, Joe Stoops and his wife, Karen, of Newton, and Don Stoops and his wife, Cathy, of Newton; sisters, Louise Vaughn, of Missouri, and Lillie Piercefield, of Newton; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters, Mary Lynn Stoops, Janice Kay Stoops and Sharon Jeanette Stoops; and brothers, Gene Weck and Clarence Weck.
