Mary M. Blohm, 79, of Portage, passed away Thursday, July 8, 1999 at
Portage Community Hospital. She was born May 29, 1920, the daughter of Ora and Rosa (Crist) Crissinger. She was married to Henry Blohm and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Family Bible Church and was a member of the Missionary Care Ministry of Liberty Bible Church and the Christian Women's Club. She is survived by her husband, Henry Blohm of Portage; one son, Ernest (Christine) Blohm of Valparaiso; two daughters, Valerie Blohm of Portage and Christine Blohm of Carol Stream, Illinois; grandchildren, Brittany Morgan, Trevor and Jacob; two brothers,
Robert Crissinger of Winamac and Thomas (Arvella) Crissinger of Star City; two sisters, Betty (Raymond) Maxwell of Winamac and Joann (Darl) Fox of Winamac; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 12th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at
Engel Funeral Home, 2700 Willow Creek Road, Portage, IN. Funeral services at the Engel Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 13, 1999 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Mark Overmeyer and Pastor Al Marquez officiating. Interment at McCool Cemetery, Portage.
