Cindy Lou Witherell Bowman passed away this Sunday at home after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born July 10, 1958 in Lawton, Olka. to Robert and Anona Witherell. She attended school in American Falls, Kenai, Alaska and graduated from Emmett High School. She married George Dewey Bowman on July 11, 1981 in Sunbeam, Idaho. They lived in Boise for a short time, then moved back to Emmett and resided there until her death. Cindy is survived by her husband George Dewey Bowman of Emmett, her mother Anona Grant of Emmett, her brothers, Robert and Stan Witherell of Emmett, her sister, Dianne Burbank of Healy, Alaska; brothers in laws, Robert Bowman of Meridian, David Bowman of Emmett, Kenneth Bowman of Caldwell, and Joseph Bowman of Boise; sisters in laws, Amanda Sevy of Caldwell and Pauline Eells, Hattie Conger, Amber Eells all of Homedale; and several nephews and nieces. She was a member of the Followers of Christ. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. Burial will follow at the Emmett Cemetery. A Viewing will start at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel.
