Bruce E. Anthony, age 88, of Minnetonka, formerly of Wells, MN, passed away peacefully on Wed., Feb. 7, 2007.


Bruce served during WWII in the Army Air Force. He worked as a machinist at Research Inc., retiring in 1980.


He enjoyed photography, and was a long-time member of the Twin City Radio Controllers and Scale Flyers of MN. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Lowell.


Survived by wife, Shirley; children, Russell, River Falls, WI and Beverly (Darrell) Monson, Staples, MN; five grandchildren; 6 ½ great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Emma); sisters, Cleo Larson and Joyce Richards; sister-in-law, Agnes; many nieces and nephews.


A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Sat., Feb. 17 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church-8115 Hwy. 7, St. Louis Park, with a visitation one hour prior to service.


Private interment at a later date will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Prince of Peace or donor's choice.
