Unable to distinguish between the bodies of two United States airmen killed in a World War II plane crash November 5, 1944, at Bari, Italy, the Government made arrangements for burial in the same grave here because Memphis is about equidistant from their homes. Military services for Leiut. Herman C. Austin, 22, bombardier and son of Clyde D. Austin of Hickory, N.C., and Staff Sergt. James H. Griffin, son of Frank R. Griffin of Wichita Falls, Texas, will be held at 1 this afternoon at National Cemetery. They will have the same headstone. J.T. Hinton & Son Funeral Home has charge.
