AMOS BENDON RITES HELD MONDAY A.M.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Our Lady of Fatima Church at Portsmouth for Amos Bendon, 80, longtime resident of Shelby County, who died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James White, in Omaha.

A native of Iowa County, he is survived by two sons, Owen of Portsmouth and Jesse "Jack" of Salem, Oregon, also two daughters, Mrs. James (Elva) White of Omaha and Mrs. Andrew "Dick" (Hazel) Gau of Portsmouth. There are also several grandchildren and brothers and sisters.

Pauley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Portsmouth.
