Patricia Adeline Blaine

Patricia, or Pat as she preferred to be called, age 86, of Everett died Saturday, February 3, 2007, after a long illness. She was born January 31, 1921, in Brainerd, Minnesota, to Connie and Elizabeth Wallin.

Pat and her parents moved to Everett when she was a very young girl and she graduated from Everett High School with the class of 1938½. She married Leonard "Red" Blaine, of Lake Stevens, Washington, in 1941 while he was serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. After the service they settled in Everett.

Pat's passion was gardening. She had what she called an eclectic garden where everything and anything would be planted to display splashes of color and interesting plant life. She would do her research and travel to many gardening centers to find her plants and create her own special flavor of garden.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Connie Murry; and son-in-law, Mike Murry, of Snohomish.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard; and her grandson, the light of her life, Matthew Murry.

Many special thanks go to the caregivers of Merry Haven Care Center in Snohomish. What a superb group of individuals.

No services will be held. Internment will be at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Everett.
