Victim of the Oklahoma City Bombing.
This sweet boy, Aaron, was in the America's Children Day-Care Center. He and his younger brother, Elijah, were two of the 19 children killed that day. Aaron was a 5 year old young man.

Aaron M, 5 and ½ years old, & Elijah S, 2 and ½ years old, Coverdale, of Oklahoma City; sons of Keith and Pamela Coverdale, grandchildren of Jannie M. Coverdale, and god children of John and Sandy Cole, all of OKC; nephews of Jeff Coverdale of Junction City, KS, Charles Coverdale of Alexandria, VA, Duane Coverdale of Milford, DE, Felicia and Veronica Ballard of OKC, and Ronnie Ballard of Illinois; attended America's Kids.

Elijah was a big Barney fan. His older brother Aaron favored the Power Rangers. Both boys loved to swim. Aaron was a typical big brother, picking up Elijah's toys and setting out his grandmother's glasses and keys each day, so she wouldn't forget them. Before dropping off to sleep each night, Elijah always reminded his granny to say her prayers. "What I failed to see at those times were wings," said Jannie M. Coverdale, the boys' grandmother and guardian (their father worked as a truck driver.) "I just saw little boys."

"They were very unique, special little people," said godfather John Cole, who along with his wife helped Jannie care for the boys. The two brothers reminded Cole of the stars the Rev. Jesse Jackson talked about when he visited Oklahoma City after the bombing. "Some stars shine and shine," said Cole, paraphrasing Jackson's speech, "and then there are others that shine so brightly and are gone so quickly."
