Death Claims Widow At 95

Mrs. Luella M. Campbell, 95, oldest resident of Chester, died this morning at 6:30 at the Fox Nursing Home, where she had been a patient 10 months, She resided at 245 Carolina Ave. Mrs. Campbell was born March 13, 1868, in Hookstown to John Allison and Ellen Jackson Allison, and resided in Chester for 72 years. She was a member of the Chester Church of the Nazarene. Her husband, Thomas (Tom) Campbell, died May 5, 1961. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Florence Bontempt of Daytona Beach, Fla., Mrs. W. H. (Iantha) Bryan of East Liverpool and Mrs. Elva Campbell of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a son, Audley Campbell of Chester, and 11 grandchildren, 20 great - grandchildren and eight great - great - grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Chester Arner Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert P. Thomas, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Arch McGaffic, pastor of the New Cumberland Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends may call at the chapel Thursday and Friday.
