Henry M. Baker, son of Michael and Mary (Fowler) Baker, died at his home, near Harvey, Feb. 19, 1910, aged 36 years, 4 months and 6 days. Mr. Baker was born in German Twp., Keokuk Co., Iowa and resided there until he moved to Harvey about 1901. In 1902 he was married to Tressa Olive and to this union were born two children, one dying in infancy. Their married life has been one of love and contentment, to a rare degree. Mr. Baker is survived by his wife and child, two sisters and one brother, John F. Baker of Harvey, Maggie Cook of Harvey and Agnes Hunt of Collins, Iowa. His wife and child, his brother and sisters have the sympathy of all in their great loss, coming so suddenly as a result of an accident. The remains were brought to Sigourney, Monday, and taken to the home of his aunt, Mrs. Maggie Wehr, where the funeral service was held yesterday, conducted by Rev. Houghton. Burial in West Cemetery.
