Edwards, September 6, 1856 in Barstow, Rock Island County, Illinois.They had the following children: Mary P., Martha E. , George D.,Charlotte A., John Edward, Frank, and Joel. In his obit. it says: John Crouch of Hampton Twp, a resident of this county since 1837, died at his home, 1 mile north of Barstow at age 73 years. He came to this county from Indiana, living at first for several years in a brick house on what is known as " the Barber Place" on the Mississippi River. He then moved to the Rock River bottom near Barstow, where he died. He died of Cirrhosia of the liver.
