A Mom, Grandma, Sis, Aunt and very best friend Mrs. Evelyn Curtis was and as she rest peacefully with the Lord we want to remember her as our guardian angel always and forever in our hearts. She has left many memories to cherish and as we all will carry our own in our heart we want to remember her for her sassy style and "big" heart. For previous to retirement Mrs. Curtis worked long, hard and tedious hours holding several positions at Bank of America for more than 30 years, devoting the last 10 years as a financial officer in Yorba Linda, California. Finally at a young age she retired leaving many friends, especially Rose Marie and Fran and did everything that she loved including shopping, visiting friends, traveling to see Sunshine and family in Florida while always finding new trends to set her sassy style. Then unfortunately she made a huge sacrifice while Ms. Paula Sue gained her very best friend and she moved to Bakersfield, California to be closer to family. As she was only here a very short time she has came to make many many friends, especially after her unfortunate back fracture and she moved into Emmanuel Parkview Real. For as unfortunate as it was, Mamma loved to be the fix of all tears, door greeter, queen of hearts, bingo princess and most important a sassy smile to all! Activities, Church, Coffee breaks and any other thing she could get involved with she was there and enjoyed every opportunity for fun! For all the staff, wonderful caregivers, nurses and friends grandma leaves behind, know you were loved and appreciated most, especially Ms. Betty, her "very" best friend. Mamma, Grammie and Sis you will be greatly missed and never forget as we kissed you to the hands of the Lord we gained an angel that we all can be reassured will bless us daily as well as be reminded that we are loved. Thank you to all the staff at Emmanuel Parkview Real as well as Hoffmann Hospice and friends who have seen to Grammies every need and all those that have sent words of condolences, food, cards, flowers or even just a simple smile.
