FRANK CATCHINGS

HAZLEHURST, Jan. 22 Funeral services for Frank Catchings, 54, who died after a lingering illness of several years at the Sanatorium, were held at the Georgetown Methodist church with Rev. Allen, pastor and Rev. J. W. Williams, pastor of Methodist church; Sanatorium, officiating, assisted by Rev. Geo. P. White, pastor of Hazlehurst Baptist church. Interment was In the Georgetown cemetery.

The deceased was a native of Georgetown and a member of a pioneer family who have been prominent planters and leaders in religious and civic work of the county. He was a member of the Methodist church.

He is survived by three brothers. A. S. Catchings and J. B. Catchings, Bassett. Ark, S. C. Catching, Colorado, two sisters, Mrs. R. R. Allen. Georgetown, and Mrs. Newton Ellis, Hazlehurst.

Pallbearers were: W. S. Catchings, Henry Guynes, C. I. Allen, J. H. Garth, Wallace Catchings and Leonard K. Hall
