Henry and his friend Charles Eddie Moore were murdered in 1964. They were two black college men that was kidnapped outside an ice cream stand in Meadsville. Later their bodies were found in the Mississippi River. After 4+ decades, James Ford Seale ( his family for many years thought that he was dead, but found alive during a 2005 documentary film that was being made my Moore's brother Thomas) has been charged with the kidnapping in connection of the deaths of the two men. Also a Charles Marcus Edwards that has not been charged the deaths is not reportedly cooperating with police in the matter.
They were killed during the civil rights movement by members of the KKK.
