Death Claims City Wife, 55
Mrs. Cora Allison, 1716 Pennsylvania Ave., wife of Vernon V. Allison, died Friday at 5:25 p.m. at City Hospital, where she had been a patient for a week. She was 55. She was born Nov. 29, 1903, in Hookstown, daughter of the late Hardy and Mary Allison. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Besides her husband at home, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Grace Haney of East Liverpool and Mrs. Darlene Barrickman of Philadelphia; two sons, Ronald Allison at home and Charles R. Allison of Concepcion, Chile; two sisters, Mrs. Callie Brevard and Mrs. Edith Alley, a brother, Lee Allison, four step - sisters, Mrs. Ruth Reed, Mrs. Faye McGraw, Mrs. Delma Boyles and Mrs. Hazel Bucher, all of East Liverpool; and two step - brothers, Lawrence Diddle of East Liverpool and Frank Diddle of San Antonio, Tex., and one grandchild. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the family home, where friends may call after 7 tonight. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery near Hookstown. The Welch Funeral Home in Hookstown is in charge of arrangements.
