Rose Marie McNatt Matthews, 86, Uniontown, Pa., formerly of Mount Independence, Pa., passed away Saturday, May 1, 2004 in Beverly HealthCare, Uniontown.
Born August 25, 1917 in Mount Braddock, Pa., d/o Henry and Sally (Swaney) McNatt.
Predeceased by her husband, William Herbert Matthews in 1983, her brother, Lester McNatt, a great granddaughter, and her parents.
Surviving are three children: Alpharetta Konicki and husband Stanley, Rose Elma Bell, and William Henry Matthews all of Lemont Furnace, Pa.; 10 grandchildren: Delbert Bell of South Carolina, Denise Satanek of Uniontown, Pa., Pamela Metts of Lemont Furnace, Rose Johnson of Washington, D.C., William Matthews of Lemont Furnace, Michele Sokol of Uniontown, Bart Matthews of Michigan, Debbie Goudy of Chalk Hill, Pa., Bret Matthews of Uniontown, and Sally Matthews of Lemont Furnace; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother: Henrietta McNatt Blosser of West Leisenring, Pa., Agnes McNatt Gogola of New Salem, Pa., and Elmer McNatt of Ohio.
