Bison Woman Dies At 93
Mrs. Elizabeth E. Crotinger, 93, died Wednesday, April 25, at the Rush County Memorial hospital. Mrs. Crotinger had contracted pneumonia recently and died after seemingly recovering from the illness. She was born Nov. 27, 1862 in Ohio and had lived in Rush County since 1888.
She is survived by two sons, Chester and Sam, Bison; two step-daughters, Mrs. Lilly Timken, Bazine; Mrs. Clayton (Elnora) Harvey, Seligman, Mo.; and one brother, Emanuel Strait, Fulton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert O.; a daughter, Catherine, who died at the age of six, and a son, Albert, who died at birth.
Mrs. Crothinger[sic] attended school in Ohio and was a member of the Methodist church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Methodist church at Bison, with Rev. George Taylor officiating. Burial will be at the Locust Hill cemetery at Rush Center.
