CYRIL M. AMES A True Gentleman of Great Faith Passed away in Berkeley on January 6, 2007. Loving husband of 59 years of Patricia Ames. Beloved and Devoted father of Patricia "Pat" Golden, Kathy Ames, Carolyn Grelli, Chris Callan and Colleen Shepherd. Brother of Joseph and Betty Ames. Father-in-law of Dean Golden, Ken Callan and Scott Shepherd. Special grandfather to Corrie Michals, Michael Golden, Deanna Gray, Joseph Golden, Joe, Tim, Mike and Christine Callan. Patricia, Mary and Colleen Shepherd. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren and many family and friends. A native of Pennsylvania. Longtime member of St. Mary Magdalen Church of Berkeley where he served many years as Head Usher. A member of the Knights of Columbus. US Army Vet serving in WWII. A Memorial Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 10:00a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2005 Berryman Ave., Berkeley, CA. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, San Pablo, CA.
