Teresa Darlene Dickson, daughter of Ronnie and Sandy Lea and Dorthy Stanley. She has a brother, Randy and a sister Dee Dee. She has three step sisters and one step brother. She has three beautiful children, Teresa, Brandon and Brooke. She has three wonderful grandchildren, Mallory (better known as Mal Mal), Logan and Braxton. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Catersville, Ga. and loved to sing in the church choir.

Darlene had a smile that was contagious. When she walked into a room you knew she was there. Her laughter could be heard by everyone. There were hundreds of people at her funeral, a testimony to the life she lived. Darlene was friends with everyone, she didn't care about color or gender. She didn't care how rich or how poor they were. She loved everyone equal. She was married to my brother for years and lived most of that time with my family. We became very close and even after they divorced she was still part of our family. The happiest times of my life were spent with Darlene. She fixed my hair for my wedding, and when my neice Ashley passed away she was right there and even helped us get her ready. When she married Danny my sisters and I done her reception. We were so proud for her because she finally found someone that she could be happy with. We have had our ups and downs like all families do but the love for her never wavered one bit.

Darlene was very unique and there will never be another like her. She will be remembered with a smile and her laughter will forever ring in our ears and in our hearts. To have known her has made me a better person. I will forever be grateful to her for sharing her life and her children with me. I will love and miss her as long as I have breath in my body. She is free from all worries and all cares of this life. Rest in the arms of Jesus.

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways.
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun.
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
