Priscilla was born a daughter of Clarence and Wilhelmina Stewart Grant. Priscilla passed away at Hospice House in Auburn.

She attended Portland schools.

After completing her education at Deering High School, she traveled to Miami, Fla., where she met Benjamin Band of Brooklyn, N.Y. They married on Jan. 26, 1944, and settled in Portland, where they raised their four children.

In addition to being a homemaker, Priscilla enrolled in nursing courses and was employed by Maine Medical Center for 14 years.

Priscilla enjoyed painting and sharing time with friends. She had a deep love of nature, conservation and the care of animals.

She had been a resident of Lewiston since 1999, where she volunteered at Central Maine Medical Center and was active in the local Lion's Club.

Priscilla is survived by two sons and two daughters, Samuel Band of Sydney, Australia, David Band of Wichita Falls, Texas, Deborah Nadeau of Lewiston and Susan Carr of Standish; a sister, Constance Corne of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a brother, William Grant of Arizona; five grandchildren; and three great-grand- children.
