Son of John G. Watters and Margaret Koofer. Husband of Anetta Smith who died 10 May 1902. William and Anetta were parents of Charles Blair and Margaret E. On 31 March 1904, William married Anna May Grazier. They had one son, John Moreland Watters.

Obituary:
WATTERS - William H. Watters died yesterday morning at his home, 404 Twenty-first avenue, aged 55 years. He had been in ill health for more than a year. Before becoming ill, he was employed by the Pennsy. He was a member of the Fairview Methodist church and is survived by his wife and one son, Moreland, at home. Two children to a former marriage, Charles of this city and Margaret, at home, also survive, in addition to the following brothers and sisters: Moreland Watters and Norris Watters of Bellwood, Jerry Watters of this city; Miss Rosie Watters of Bellwood and Mrs. Tillie Bills of Pittsburgh. Mr. Watters' mother, Mrs. Margaret Watters of Bellwood, also survives.
