Margaret was daughter of Jacob Yerian & Barbara Leiby. She was born about 1790.
She married Isaac Thomas on September 21, 1815 in Highland Co., OH.
They had six daughters: Eve (McGowan); Barbara (Smalley, McDermitt); Catherine (Thoroman); Ann Elizabeth (Kilpatrick); Margaret (Thoroman); & Annettie (McCoy).
Margaret's date of death is not known. The last record in which she has been identified relates to the settlement of her husband Isaac's estate. It is dated 22 Mar 1831. We do not know what happened to Margaret after that date. It is possible she married again. The Adams Co. court house burned in 1910 destroying most of the marriage records, so there is no record of any remarriage.
If she remained in Adams Co., most likely she is buried at Steam Furnace Cemetery or Jacksonville (Jacktown) Cemetery. She probably remained in Adams Co., as her daughters married and lived there.
