He had been a security guard for Clark Detective Agency in Vincennes, Ind.
He was a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Chicago.
There are no immediate survivors.
Services at Smith Funeral Home, with burial in Lawrenceville City Cemetery, with military rites.
