Born June 2, 1980 in Salt Lake City to John R. and Lola Hartley Barrett. Attended the fifth grade at Liberty Elementary, was a Brownie in the Girl Scouts, recently became a member of the LDS Church.Rebecca was an outstanding inspiration to all she met, and conveyed much sunshine to all around her. She brought much love and joy into our home and all of the lives she touched. She will be greatly missed by her family, and all that were a part of her life.
Survivors; parents, Murray; brothers and sisters, Toni Aland and husband Greg, Roben A. Schafer and wife Sharlene, all of Salt Lake City; Terrienne and Jaime Schafer, Cindy and John Michael Barrett, all of Murray; grandparents, Elton and Bernice Hartley, North Salt Lake; and Mr. & Mrs. R. E. Barrett, Vermont; aunts, Verda Mason, and Nadine Madsen, both of Salt Lake; uncle, Ralph Hartley, Magna; and numerous cousins and nieces.
A very special thanks to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Developmental Disabilities Department, Shriners Hospital, and their staffs; and Mrs. Marilyn Moore, of Liberty Elementary.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 24, 1990, 11 a.m. at the Murray 21st Ward, 6100 South 10 West. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Saturday, 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
