--Mrs. Maude M. Mills, past 56 years of age, died at her home, 474 East Third street, Tuesday afternoon after a long illness of heart trouble.
--Mrs. Mills has been a resident of Peru for the past 24 years having come here from Kansas. She is a member of the Episcopal church and the Royal Neighbors lodge.
--Surviving besides the husband Ben Mills, are nine children, Mrs. Marjorie Blue, Harry Mills, Bert Mills, Richard Mills, Carl Mills all of Peru; Bess Mills, Chicago; Robert Mills, Winchester, Indiana and Mrs. Ruth Kurtz, Bruce Lake, Indiana. Five grandchildren also survive. One son, Max Mills was killed eight years ago on state road 31, south of Peru. Two brothers A. D. Stinson, of Cincinnati, and George Stinson, of Kansas City, Missouri, survive the deceased.
