Martha K. Clark
Born in Eustes Nebraska on January 6, 1911 to Fred and Mary Kuebler. She had one brother, Fred Kuebler and four sisters: Elsie Easterday, Clara Dumke, Ruth Fasse and Lorene Guettler. She married her husband, Clifford Clark, on March 16, 1945. They began their new life in Bozeman, Montana where they lived for 29 years and raised their two daughters, Nanci and Niki. They met a lot of great people which became very close friends. After retiring they moved to Coeur d'Alene, ID and traveled South in the winters. They made Coeur d'Alene their year-round home in 1980. Martha had a quick smile and a deep love for God and her family. She never hesitated to try things and was active in her church. She was friends to everyone and would willing help on any project. During the past three years she supplied over 400 blankets to the Kootenai Medical Pediatric Ward, Hospice, Children's Village and the Homeless Shelter. She and her best friend Pat spent hours driving and visiting their favorite restaurants. Martha was fantastic cook and there was always a treat in the pantry and she supplied everyone with cinnamon rolls each Saturday and pancakes for breakfast every morning. Martha was a talented seamstress and loved to crochet. She was "Grandma Pancake" to everyone who knew her. God has taken her home this week where she joined her husband Clifford Clark, brother Fred Kuebler, and Sister Elsie Easterday, where she will celebrate her 96th birthday with her loving husband. Martha is survived by Nanci and Ken Hawkins; grandchildren, Heather and Juan Barajas, Heidi and Matt Crump, and Jeremy Belnap.
