Kristi Nicole "Nikki" Malan, truly a blessing to all those whose lives she touched. Nikki arrived on the wings of an angel, a pure and beautiful spirit, on December 26th, 1977, then on October 22, 2002, departed, just as pure and beautiful as the day she arrived. Nikki blessed our lives for many years beyond doctors expectancy solely on the love and care of her mother, those around her, and God's hand.

We have a special thank you to the teachers and staff of Canyon View School, where Nikki attended til the age of 19. There they cared for her and others like her, they devoted their friendship, love, and time. They filled their hearts with smiles. Nikki will be deeply missed by all, so now go with God little angel, be free to run and play, laugh and sing, take with you our love, tucked under your wing, close to your heart. We will be with you again. (Written by her family)

Nikki is survived by her mother, Noma (Kati) Malan-Champneys; father, Fred W. Malan; her dad, Curtis W. Champneys; sisters and brothers, Patricia K. Malan, Tyson F. Malan, Cara, Loni, Chad and Shayne Champneys. Also surviving are Nikki's grandparents, Pat and Fred Malan, Lance and Beth Wardle, Jim and Ginger Holiday, and Carolyn Lanzarotta; great grandpa Marriott, great grandma Rose, and great-great grandma Nana; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
