Professional Wrestler. Second of the Von Erich brothers to turn professional, teamed with his brother Kevin and won their first tag team title together in 1978 when they won the NWA Texas Tag Team title. They won the NWA American Tag Team title later that year. David also won the Texas Heavyweight title in 1978 which he held a total of 6 times. He also held the NWA Southern Heavyweight title, North American Tag Team title (with Dory Funk Jr.), Florida TV title, Missouri Heavyweight championship, NWA World Tag Team titles, and many others.
