Born the first of five children to Silas Micajah and Arie Ann Williams Bennett, Arthur Bennett was raised in Howell County, MO. On Dec. 3, 1912 he married Anna Amelia Stein, known as "Carrie." They had three children, Dessie, Dorothy and Arthur, Jr. They lived most of their married life in the Denver, CO, area. He and Carrie are buried next to one another.
