Doyle R. "Rusty" Page, 42, of Slater, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at his home.

Cremation. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Slater. Rev. David L. Duncan and Rev. Robert Sisney will officiate. Burial will be in the Slater City Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Memorials are suggested to a trust fund for his sons' education, in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.

Born May 28, 1964, in San Diego, Calif., he was the son of Melvin and Betty Sue Johnson Page. On May 5, 2005, in Marshall, he married Karen Officer, and she survives. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Slater, and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a 1982 graduate of Slater High School and had lived in the Slater area all his life.

He is survived by two sons, Benjamin D. Page of Clinton and Bryce C. Page of Clinton; two sisters, Rita Boggs of Claremore, Okla., and Jennifer Thompson of Marshall; a half-sister, Michi Tyre of Shawnee, Kan.; four nephews and numerous cousins.
